"Mainaker Dolbol" literally translates to "Mainak’s Troupe" — a collective built around the magnetic voice, storytelling, and lifelong musical devotion of lead vocalist Mainak Paladhi. Steeped in the earthy fragrance of Bengal’s soil (মাটির সোঁদা গন্ধ), his voice bridges centuries-old Lokogiti and Baul traditions with contemporary live concert energy.
Trained under the revered Bengali folk maestro Guru Abhijit Basu, Mainak has dedicated his artistic life to bringing authentic folk melodies to a new generation. With four studio albums to his credit — including his acclaimed Lokogiti album 'Bhitor Bahire' (ভিতর বাহিরে) released by Sagarika Music — Mainak commands the stage with his signature Khamak, soaring vocal range, and an unmistakable connection with his audience.
